THE ASSOCIATION
The V-LAB is a charitable Association established in October 2019 with the support of the Government of New-Zealand and fully registered with the Vanuatu Financial Service Commission (VFSC). It is composed of individuals, both Ni-Vanuatu and expats with considerable experience and expertise in business development, entrepreneurship and innovation in the country and beyond.
Our work
V-LAB business development program has three main objectives:
1. To accompany young entrepreneurs in the development and growth of their businesses, with an emphasis on businesses which focus on innovation, green economy and social entrepreneurship.
2. To improve and enhance the financial inclusion and digital transformation of these businesses in the Vanuatu market, in close coordination with our banking and ICT partners.
3. To influence and support the development of an environment that is conducive to entrepreneurship in the country, through for instance policy reform and development.

The Bureau of the Committee of the Association is composed of the following individuals:
Marc-Antoine Morel worked 15 years with the United-Nations throughout the world before he moved with his family to Vanuatu. After having worked as Manager, Corporate Services at AJC, he decided to create V-Lab in order to support entrepreneurship and promote innovation in Vanuatu.

Serah Tari graduated from the Australia Pacific Technical College in 2012. Since then, she has established herself as an entrepreneur and consultant supporting many development projects in Vanuatu. She is also the Head of the Women Weaving Association

Julia King is very actively involved in the business and sport sectors in Vanuatu. Director of Kava House, Julia is also the Head of the Women Business Association of the Vanuatu Chamber of Commerce and Industry. On the sporting side, Julia is the Head of the Vanuatu Women in Sport Association

Marokon Alilee is the Chairperson of the Vanuatu Association of Accountants who graduated with a Masters degree in Business Administration. He has spend the last 15+ years of his professional experience in development cooperation, specifically in Trade Promotion and Policy Development. Currently he has ventured into starting his own business as a private consultant.
